SPRING IS IN THE AIR — ACCORDING TO THE CALENDAR….

With the January & February auctions  now behind us, and according to the calendar, Spring has sprung up, up and as of last week…away!    However, the wind, rain and snow hasn’t stopped us from ‘the hunt’ these past two months! So before you plan your outdoor activities, come join us on Saturday, April 23 at the Eagleswood Fire Hall for our spring time auction beginning with preview and registration at 8 a.m.!

At this sale, weekend radio control enthusiast, or beginner hobbyist, have an opportunity to win many radio-controlled aircraft and a Sailboat, plus Fox, HB, Saito Airplane Engines, as well as various aircraft accessories. In addition, we will be auctioning Miyata & Specialized Rock Hopper men’s Bicycles, Helmets and Riding Gear!  For those rainy afternoons, stay at home and watch your favorite shows on a large Phillips Flat Screen Television that’s also on the block.

Spring clean your home and add a fresh new look with many outstanding pottery items (Roseville & Weller) in this sale.

(Roseville Pottery has been collected by many for decades. The Ohio based company was founded in 1890 and produced this exquisite pottery through 1954.)

Or, if you prefer the eclectic look, many unusual items such as a bronze and composition Statue, Clocks, homemade Quilts (two are dated and signed from the 1930’s), Lamps, Lanterns, framed Paintings,  vintage Radios & Record Players, Cast-Iron Door Stops, Tramp Art & Metal Picture Frames, and a lovely decorative Mirror.  Further accent your decor with a nice selection of Bosson’s Chalkware, Crocks, Yellow-ware Bowls, Butter Churns, Tins, Abbotts ‘A’ Metal Milk Crate, wooden Crates, Cast Iron Wagon Wheels, a Barrel Coffee Grinder, or Native American Indian Arrow Heads, Drums, and Dolls.

Railroad and south Jersey buffs will delight in the array of unusual items, all fresh to the market, including but not limited to:  New Jersey Map of Railroads ca. 1860/90, the Tuckerton Railroad Company’s Bill of Lading, Interchange Reports, Conductor’s Reports, photo Negative of the Tuckerton Railroad Station ca 1938, Photographs, and Tickets.  You’ll also delight in more rare finds such as Beach Arlington (Ship Bottom) Firemen’s Exemptions, Hunting & Fishing, Scenic Photographs taken on Long Beach Island ca. 1940-1950, West Creek Yacht Club Resolution, New Gretna Deeds,  and Barnegat High School Autograph Books 1941-1942 .

SOLD, SOLD, SOLD and On the Flip Side

The January auction is now behind us, but what a sale it was!  We would like to thank our consignors for placing their confidence in us, the record number of  bidders who filled the hall, and I might add, weren’t bashful when it came to bidding, our support Team as well as Chef Rich for his delicious cooking!  We are also humbled by our consignors’ gratitude and appreciation.

On the flip side,  numismatic collectors will have a large selection of United States Gold and Silver, Confederate, Commemorative and Foreign Coins, along with large Silver Certificates, Fractional, United States & National Currency, Bearer Notes and Tokens available to them at auction on Sunday, February 28. The Coin Currency Auction will begin with a preview at 1 pm and the auction will commence at 3 pm.  We invite you to join us at the Eagleswood Fire Hall, 219 Railroad Avenue in West Creek or bid on-line, real-time starting at 3 pm.

Plus, we will be offering from the U.S. Mint, 50 State Quarters Coin and Die Set, and from the Franklin Mint, 56 One Ounce Sterling Silver Medallions ‘Signors Of The Declaration’ Sets.
